while we don't all want to call attention to the good we do in the world, i know my daily wisdom cards have filled you up with so much creative sharing.   some of us are called to witness the good you put forth in the world.  you send packages to college students and tuck them in.  you fill cards with hand written words and place a card inside.  you leave gifts of kindness and a card behind.  not everyone has the same idea.  your sharing can inspire others to be present to a friend in need.  to take time to care for their mind, body, and soul.  to pause their busy, busy days and soak in the beauty of the present moment.  you have so much within you.  there's much to share.  please do.  ((and thank you!))

hello, lovelies!  it's been a while.  i really, really need to create time in my daily living for this blog.  while i'd hoped the new site would be up and running at this point, these things have a time of their own.  even so, i'm happy you're here and i'll show up a little more often, too.

i'm calling my newest stole design a celebration stole.

on the reverse, a blessing freehanded on my trusty bernina machine using a freehand foot.  

i'm incorporating my font into stitching.  and i love it. 

the congregation added the blessing and chose a verse to end with.  

i love the asymmetry the space required, 

having this in mind in case two lines became necessary.

the shipping is an investment on the candles.  i'm looking for a better rate, though for now, the weight + size is what determines it.  that's one reason i have them priced low... and you'll have hours upon hours to enjoy the light.  after that, adding sand and a taper or using these to hold something else can be a good thing!

Strawberry Street Festival THIS Saturday!

Ooh! i'm excited. bright smiles. fun stories. and lots and lots of amazing artisans will be at the Strawberry Street Festival THIS Saturday in Richmond, VA.

my sweet son attends Fox and i've been at this market 6+ years. it's among my favorite and this year serves as my final for the season as i shift my attention to caring for the growing baby within.

Spring Bada Bing

Spring Bada Bing is one of two annual shows hosted by the Richmond Craft Mafia.  as a member of the group and a long-time vendor, i look forward to this show every April.  this year we mark a new location on the northisde of richmond.  i'm looking forward to being at the show and seeing you there!

i'll have new folded cards, new prints, and new wisdom cards!  i also hope to have some newly completed mixed media canvases i'm very, very excited about.  each of these works feed my soul as i work in the studio to create them.  my heart goes into each piece and i'm always so touched to hear how they speak to you.
