life stories: celebrating creation.
before you are a few images from our time with church friends over the weekend. we love the green spaces in the world that bring rest. this spot has become a sacred place where we laugh, rest, and renew as we are among people we love. such a gift.

bread making in all sorts
in a variety of forms, bread is taking shape this week. bread is baked for a family welcoming their fourth into their home. bread is baked for our family as we ate with others in our church community tonight. bread dough is made for the upcoming festival, with more and more to be made. bread is taking shape in words, thoughts, and actions that lead to a festival that's meant to be a feast for the mind, body, and spirit.
words are rising within me. the dough is taking shape. the rhythm of writing, reading, and creating forms. my work will be among others in a festival gallery friday and then sold at the Richmond Craft Mafia's Spring Bada Bing THIS Sunday.
though there are holy pauses between what's shared, there will also be bread for the journey. as i was graciously reminded, the pause in writing allows others to read what hasn't been read through the more hurried days. thus, enjoy the archives of these two years of blogging. there is bread here and certainly more to come.

it's just that time
it's that time to rest, renew, and reflect. (couldn't resist the alliteration. promise-i'm finished.) this weekend's concert tickets are in hand. my subtle suggestion of dinner at MeKong will be presented to the hubs tomorrow. we'll enjoy this fine fall weather and good food here at home, too. short & sweet words today.
thankful for all who came to the Ashland Trunk Show. we enjoyed ourselves there and i ended up with a new wholesale account. lots of good art & folks to meet. love being around kindred spirits. and i think i had my best display yet. no worries--more to come with three shows in richmond & etsy listings on the way. but not today. or tomorrow. or the next day. this weekend is for me and the family. good times.
