i made peach preserves using fresh alabama peaches from the farm stand
using my love's great grandmother's pot. this pot has been used to can many fruits and veggies over the years by many women. there's a sacredness to using this enamel pot.
and there's a richness to the color and smells that are witnessed as the preserves come together.

with sounds of popping caps, my work is blessed.
