we celebrated the forth as many of you did. watermelon & fireworks. this show was spectacular, taking place on the ground of the old homeplace of my mamaw & papaw. we know that papaw would be proud at the display, an hour long fireworks show! it was loud, in your face ((one got a little too close, which will wake up all the senses!)), and bright & colorful. i think that would say a lot about my papaw, as i know he could be loud, in your face, bright & colorful. he had a gentelness at times, but i remember him most in full color.
