sweet

yay fun! i've been inspired by a new find...the small object. http://www.thesmallobject.com i warn you, her stuff is great. i really like the creativity that pours forth. i'm inspired. AND check out the great free downloads on her site. I LOVE sharing...and she's got the ticket. watch out, i may need to share something soon, too!

so...here's the thing: i am dreaming a little. scary, i know. dreaming of how i can carry my arts into the next level. the business i want to open. how to be the mother, wife, artist, minister that i can see. i can taste it. i just need all of that to bubble up and over, whatever that means.

to top things off...i have not 3, not 4, but 5 days off...5 days in a row. i'm so excited that i'm FINALLY going to create my upstairs studio that i don't know what to do! thanks to some of a friend's barn, another friend's glorious help, and richard's carpentry skills...a little paint, a few nails, and some time...i'll have a snappy studio (and pictures to share)!

a merry christmas

our house will delight your senses. richard has been baking breads and cookies. jayme made an indian dish. joan has wrapped gifts and joseph just bustles with energy. i'm sitting in a room lit by two of our three bears trees. joseph is down for his evening rest. it's been a delight to come home to these good friends whom i call family. it is good to have so much in store for the rest of the evening. a trip to a midnight mass service with jayme, good sleep with no where to be in the morning except in my pajamas with a cup of joe watching joseph unwrap and enjoy his gifts. oh, the goodness of love spent with good people. may each i love feel life and love and joy and peace and hope this holiday. may you all know goodness and love and creativity in whatever forms come to you.

peace.

holiday shopping on etsy

i've been trying to make time the past few weeks to make new wears and update the website. i love the holidays for the spirit of giving, so i've reduced some prices and made room for some stocking stuffers. and i've made my first international sale on etsy today...all the way from firenze...where we spent our honeymoon 4 years ago this month. how fun.

so tonight we've set up the family christmas tree with ornaments given from friends over the years, vintage pieces from my childhood as well as handmade ornaments from young friends of years past. picture to follow! for now a taste of the new wears on etsy (in honor of italy)!

peace.
